Pi-Sheng Wang, M.D
Dr. Wang is the Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare since July 2022. He received his M.D. from Taipei Medical University in 1995 and his Master degree from the Institute of Hospital and Health Care Administration, National Yang Ming University in 2007.
Dr. Wang was an attending physician of the Department of Chest Medicine (2003-2017), the Director of the International Medical Service Center and Center for Medical Quality Management (2011-2014) and the Deputy Director of Department of Medical Affair and Planning (2016-2017) at the Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Veterans Affairs Commission, Executive Yuan. He also served as the Superintendent of Kinmen Hospital (2014-2016) and Deputy CEO at the Hospital and Social Welfare Organizations Administration Commission at the Ministry of Health and Welfare (2017-2018). Meanwhile, he served as Secretary General (2016-2019) and Consultant (2019-2022) at the Taiwan Medical Association.
Dr. Wang is also currently the President of the Taiwan Public Hospital Association, the CEO of the Hospital and Social Welfare Organizations Administration Commission, Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Commander of the Central Epidemic Command Center.
